Two fatal shootings over the weekend are being investigated in the Pioneer Valley.
Holyoke police say a rapper from Holyoke was shot outside of a party at which he was performing downtown on Sunday morning.
That was the first murder of the year in Springfield.
In Springfield, police say a man who was shot on Saturday on Waldorf Street has died.
That murder was the 12th in the city of Springfield.
Neither of the victims have been identified.
The District Attorney's office is investigating both cases.
