In Springfield's Forest Park neighborhood, Mayor Domenic Sarno led a neighborhood walk on Tuesday with Springfield police officers and city officials.
Forest Park has seen a recent spike in criminal activity recently, including a fatal shooting on August 29th and a major drug bust, both on Fort Pleasant Avenue.
The purpose of the walk was to meet with concerned residents and talk to them about the city's effort to address the crime issue.
