Massachusetts Gaming Commission chairman Stephen Crosby is resigning.
Crosby said in a letter to fellow commissioners and agency staff that he has been accused of pre-judging an investigation into the suitability of Wynn Resorts holding a license for the new eastern Massachusetts casino after Steve Wynn stepped down due to sexual misconduct allegations.
The gaming commission is set to meet in Boston today to discuss the Wynn casino situation.
The Governor will now likely name another Commissioner.
There is no indication as to when he will do that.
