A Northampton man who was pepper-sprayed by police while protesting on the steps of City Hall last year is being found not guilty of related charges.
A Northampton District Court jury cleared Eric Matlock on charges of disorderly conduct, resisting arrest and assault and battery on Thursday.
Matlock was protesting after his child was taken by the Department of Children and Families, but police said he was blocking the entrance to City Hall and refused to move.
