A Springfield City Council committee met on Tuesday to discuss progress at an apartment complex where residents have been dealing with a lack of natural gas and hot water.
Code enforcement officials said there are still about one-hundred stoves at the Maple Apartments that are offline, and the process to get them restored could take several more weeks.
A gas leak in mid-September initially forced all of the units to lose service.
