Voter support was requested in Western Massachusetts this past weekend as the 2018 general election approaches on Tuesday.
Democrats Elizabeth Warren, who is running to keep her Senate seat, Jay Gonzalez, who is running for governor, and Attorney General Maura Healey all hit Pittsfield, Springfield and then Worcester and Lowell on Sunday.
Republican Governor Charlie Baker, who himself is running for re-election, stopped in Longmeadow to support state representative candidate Allison Werder on Saturday, and then made several visits in Springfield.
In Connecticut, the race driving people to the polls is the race for Governor.
The polls open generally in Massachusetts at 7 Tuesday morning.
