Forecasters have downgraded the accumulations from the weekend storm.
Most of western Mass is expected to finish with somewhere between 4 and 8 inches of snow with more in the higher elevations.
The snow has forced the cancellation of many flights out of Bradley International Airport.
Now the concern is over ice accumulations in the area.
In the greater Springfield area it could amount to about a quarter of an inch in some locations. Power outages could be of a concern.
Parking bans are in effect throughout all the area.
