Dozens of senior citizens are expected at the State House today to lobby legislators.
Organizers say the seniors will urge lawmakers to close a health care access gap for low-income seniors when they age out of subsidized Connector Care.
The Massachusetts Senior Action Council says expanding coverage during the legislature's budgeting process will help 70-thousand seniors avoid making hard choices between medicine and other necessities.
Organizers say that under the current system seniors are being forced to make decisions about whether they will take their medicines or whether they will eat.
