President's Day Bring Protests Over Immigration And Wall

On this President's Day, rallies are planned in the Pioneer Valley against the current president's declared state of emergency.

The Pioneer Valley Women's March and Indivisible Noho are organizing the "No Racist Border Wall, No hashtag-Fake National Emergency" protest at Northampton City Hall at noon.

Similar rallies are reportedly scheduled for Springfield and Greenfield. President Trump declared the emergency to move funding for a border wall between the U.S. and Mexico after Congress passed a budget deal that only provided some of the money he was seeking.
