Boston Cardinal Sean O'Malley says the recent Vatican meeting was transformative for many of the bishops in attendance.
O'Malley says he believes the meeting was a huge step forward for the Catholic Church.
He says for many of the bishops, it was the first time they actually were listening to victims and survivors.
The leaders at the meeting represent over one billion Catholics around the world.
