Owner Pleads Not Guilty--Attorney Says There Was No Evidence

The co-owner of Nathan Bill's Bar and Restaurant was arraigned on assault charges in Hampden Superior Court on Wednesday.

John Sullivan is accused of being involved in the 2015 fight in which more than a dozen current and former Springfield police officers are also implicated.

Sullivan pleaded not guilty.

He was freed without bail.

His attorney telling reporters that there is no evidence to suggest that his client was there.
