An entrance to Forest Park in Springfield is closed starting today until further notice for a repair to a collapsed culvert.
The closure affects Main Greeting Road at the Sumner Avenue entrance, for both vehicle and pedestrian traffic; the culvert being repaired is at Swan Pond. Those wanting to access most of Forest Park are asked to do so by one of the other two entrances.
The culvert project will probably be done sometime in November.
