A judge is ruling against three University of Massachusetts students who tried to stop a pro-Palestine event on campus this weekend.
The ruling on Thursday against issuing an injunction in Suffolk Superior Court allows for the program called Not Backing Down: Israel, Free Speech and the Battle for Palestinian Rights, to take place Saturday night, with a panel discussion featuring former Pink Floyd singer Roger Waters.
The request for the injunction argued that the event could, among other things, violate the university's anti-discrimination policies.
