A Western Massachusetts native is a victim of a double murder -suicide involving three active-duty Navy corpsmen in Virginia.
Meaghan Burns of South Deerfield was stationed at the Naval Medical Center in Portsmouth, Virginia.
Burns was born in Springfield.
She was reportedly found shot dead, along with another woman stationed at the center, Shianne Soles, at a 7-Eleven store over the weekend.
NCIS has identified the shooter as Donavon Moora of New York, who was reportedly found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound nearby.
Burns enlisted in the Navy in 2015.
Officials have not speculated on a motive.
