A new survey indicates that Massachusetts has the best pre-K through 12th grade education in the nation.
U.S. News and World Report conducted the survey and announced the results this week. Overall, Washington was rated the top state in the nation, with Massachusetts finishing eighth.
The overall survey considered education, health care, the economy, infrastructure and other factors into consideration.
