A Blackstone woman is acquitted of second-degree murder.
The remains of three babies were found in a filthy so-called House of Horrors where Erika Murray lived.
Following an eight-day trial, a Worcester Superior Court judge ruled today that prosecutors did not prove Murray caused the death of one of the babies.
She was found guilty on charges including assault and battery on a child and animal cruelty.
When police made the gruesome discovery in 2014, four living children were removed from the house that was filled with dead animals, rodents and trash.
The Attorney for Murray says that his client will have to live with the tragedy for the rest of her life.
