A Western Mass motorcyclist who was injured in last month's highly-publicized truck-versus-motorcycles crash in New Hampshire is suing the truck driver and his company.
The suit, filed by Joshua Morin of Dalton in Hampden Superior Court, is against West Springfield man Volodymyr Zhukovskyy and Westfield Transport.
Morin's attorney claims his medical bills will be above a half-million dollars.
Zhukovskyy is criminally charged with causing the deaths of seven motorcyclists.
Attorney John Haymond tells Western Mass News he will add the Registry of Motor Vehicles as a possible defendant to the suit.
He has also suggested that the Connecticut Department of Motor Vehicles could also be named for the way they handled paper citations and transferring them to Massachusetts.
Previously, Massachusetts Governor Charlie Baker said Connecticut was not at fault.
No timetable for the suit yet.
