DA's Cousin Remains Jailed On Arson Charge

Accused Palmer arsonist Joseph Gulluni Jr. is being held without bail. Gulluni made an appearance in Worcester District Court on Wednesday, where the case has been relocated because of the defendant's familial relation to Hampden District Attorney Anthony Gulluni.

Joseph Gulluni is charged with arson and attempted murder after allegedly setting fire to an apartment building he owned while there were tenants inside.

He's due back in court in about a month.

His attorney Dan Kelly arguing for bail conceding that his client has had issues with the law before but he said that was in his younger days and that he is a changed man with a family and successful businesses.

Late Wednesday, the judge ruled that he must remain in jail.
