Dave Dombrowski is out as president of baseball operations for the Boston Red Sox.
Dombrowski was the architect of last year's championship team, but the team has struggled this year and are in third place.
Dombrowski was let go after last night's ten to five loss to the Yankees at Fenway Park.
Three assistants will run the day to day operations of the team until a new president is hired.
