Three horses died in a barn fire in Amherst on Sunday morning.
Officials don't think the blaze at the Muddy Brook Farm on West Street was suspicious.
A half-dozen other horses were reportedly rescued.
Several residents were able to get out, with one being taken to a hospital for treatment of smoke inhalation.
