Holyoke police are advising the public about an online hoax.
It concerns a posted message that warns people that young girls are being stabbed with needles in bathrooms at the Holyoke Mall and then taken for sex trafficking.
Police say the same message was posted on social media in November of last year.
Authorities stress the warning is a hoax and totally false.
Police continue to investigate.
