A California couple was arrested after police say they took the law into their own hands. Authorities accusedĀ Corey Cornutt, 25, andĀ Savannah Grillot, 29, of leaving a bicycle unattended in their yard toĀ lure potential thieves. When the robbers would take the bait, the couple would run out of their home armed with baseball bats to beat the thieves. The couple filmed their attacks and posted the videos on YouTube.
Officials haveĀ linked the couple to at least four assaultsĀ that occurred near their home in Visalia between July and November. The victims were not identified but reportedly suffered various non-life threatening injuries.
The couple was taken into custody onĀ suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon and conspiracy.
