DA: Public Banded Together To Find Missing Child

Praise is being given to the citizens who had a hand in rescuing a kidnapped girl in Springfield this week.

Authorities say the public played a role with the tips that were submitted in the rescue of Charlotte Moccia who was reportedly abducted by city resident Miguel Rodriguez on her way home from school on Wednesday.

Two Springfield residents - Amanda Disley and her husband, Ben Correa - were featured in a video posted on social media chasing the kidnapper's vehicle through Springfield.

State police reportedly stopped the car on the MassPike near Sturbridge.
