The Springfield Police Department is cautioning people not to get scammed after last week's child abduction incident.
A police spokesperson said fundraising campaigns have not been set up by the family of Charlotte Moccia the girl who was abducted, or the family of Amanda Disley, who along with her husband reportedly followed the alleged kidnapper's car.
Therefore, donations to any GoFundMe or similar accounts in their names are being advised against.
