The western Mass legislative delegation is going to go through a big change. Aaron Vega in Holyoke announced yesterday he was not running for re-election. This morning, Springfield State Representative Jose Tosado will not seek re-election. In a statement this morning Tosado said that he wants to devote more time to his family and meeting with his family they decided to -- in his words--”call it a day.” In Holyoke, Patricia Duffy has already announced her bid for the Vega seat. In Springfield--Orlando Ramos --the Springfield City Councilor has announced his intention to run. In addition, Denise Hurst, a Springfield School Committee member is also running.
