Former Westfield police detective Brian Fanion, who is accused of murdering his wife, was released on bail on Friday,
Fanion was arrested last November for the death of Amy Fanion in 2018.
Prosecutors say Brian Fanion staged the death from a gunshot wound as a suicide.
Bail was set in Hampden Superior Court at 200-thousand dollars and a pre-trial conference was scheduled for June.
