Democratic presidential candidate Elizabeth Warren is announcing a plan that would legalize marijuana.
The Massachusetts senator announced a new plan on Sunday to battle "Big Tobacco."
It would also reduce federal funding for police in states where marijuana is illegal and racial disparities in the number of marijuana arrests remain static.
The plan includes 500-million-dollars in annual funding to restore "damage done to communities that have been unjustly targeted by marijuana enforcement." Warren would also reportedly tap people who support marijuana legalization to head the Department of Justice, the DEA and other key departments.
