The U.S. Surgeon General is in Connecticut as coronavirus comes closer to the state.
Vice Admiral Jerome Adams joined Governor Lamont and U.S. Senator Richard Blumenthal as they toured the state's Public Health Laboratory in Rocky Hill, which is now an approved coronavirus testing facility.
Yesterday officials in New York and Rhode Island each confirmed a case of coronavirus.
Two people in Connecticut were tested for the virus over the weekend but the results were negative.
Officials say so far there is the one case of the virus in the Boston area.
Officials in Cohasset say that at least one person has been put into self seclusion as a precaution because they may have had contact with someone with Covid 19.
