Springfield School Official: Three Self Quarantined After Trip To Italy

Three Springfield public schools staff members who recently went to Italy are in self-quarantine for possible coronavirus exposure.

The school district says the step is being taken as a precautionary measure and is based solely on state guidelines.

The quarantine is for two weeks; none of the staff members have reported symptoms, according to the school district.

The School Department is not identifying the employees.

There are no reported cases of the virus in Springfield.
