The Agawam School Superintendent Steve Lemanski closed Agawam High School today.
The Superintendent says "I received a report that a family member of an Agawam High School student has flu-like symptoms and was reporting to his physician."
That family member is being tested for the Covid 19 virus.
Lemanski says that he expects that the school will be open next week but he continues to monitor the situation.
