A new report indicates there's no evidence so far that the MGM Springfield casino has reduced statewide revenue totals for the Massachusetts State Lottery.
The study from University of Massachusetts researchers examines the numbers after one year of operation for MGM.
The study notes that lottery sales are the largest source of local government aid for all communities and that the research was conducted due to the state's concern that expanded casino gambling would negatively impact that.
