The death toll mounting in Massachusetts from Covid 19. New numbers. 96 people died in the latest report. Now 599 people dead in the Commonwealth.
In Connecticut, Governor Ned Lamont says there are now 10 thousand cases of Covid 19. 448 people have died because of the virus. 108 confirmed cases in Enfield. Summers 17. Stafford 33. Suffield 30 cases.

Berkshire County 329 cases.
Franklin County 135.
Hampshire County 194.
Hampden County 1, 394.
The Governor urging everyone---to just stay home because the worst is yet to come. He told people to stay home because we were in store for a tough three weeks and probably more. He said that there would be time to figure out how to reopen the state but he was more focused on the immediate crisis.
A highly emotional Governor told reporters:
"If you are looking for something to pray about this weekend, you should pray for the families and the neighbors and the friends who are going to be working their way through this surge over the next several weeks. Whether they are healthcare workers or patients or hospital leaders or just folks who are volunteering in a community to step up and help ....with food or shelter or whatever it might be. The focus needs to be right now on what is in front of us."
The state has issued an advisory asking people to wear masks if they are outside. They say it should be utilized in grocery stores and pharmacies and the like.
In Longmeadow, at the "J-G-S" Life Care Center--officials reporting 21 people dead because of the covid 19 virus.
In Ludlow two deaths have been reported. 30 cases there.
Chicopee has 94 confirmed cases.
Westfield has 171 cases.
Greenfield 79.
