Task Force Doctor: All Of Massachusetts Considered Hot Spot

The White House coronavirus task force coordinator says there are a few spots where the coronavirus is of great concern right now.

Speaking on CBS' Face The Nation, Dr. Deborah Birx specifically mentioned Boston and the commonwealth of Massachusetts.

Birx says there's also concern about Chicago.

In addition to hotspots, Birx addressed reports about where the virus originated.

She says she doesn't have evidence that it was a lab accident or where exactly the virus came from.

Massachusetts with its more than 34 thousand cases of the virus is the third ranked state with the highest number of infections.

In Connecticut, which has to work on a regional way to reopen that state in association with Massachusetts and New York, they have nearly 18 thousand cases and more than a thousand deaths.
