Jury trials in both criminal and civil cases in Massachusetts are postponed until July at the earliest because of the coronavirus pandemic. Under the new order from the state Supreme Judicial Court issued yesterday, all other court business is to be conducted virtually. Court buildings will continue to be closed to the general public except for emergency matters that cannot be dealt with virtually. The order also extends various deadlines.
