New management and a reduction in the number of residents are in the works at the coronavirus-plagued Holyoke Soldiers' Home.
Those items were discussed at a board of trustees meeting on Tuesday night. Officials say the plan to reduce the number of residents who can live at the home by about 50 will allow for more social distancing.
The board said up two-million dollars in building improvements will be spent to protect against further spread of the virus.
Seventy-four coronavirus-related deaths have been reported at the facility to date.
