New coronavirus-related restrictions are now in effect across Massachusetts.
Governor Charlie Baker announced changes on Friday to try and stop the spread of COVID-19.
They include lowering the limit for outdoor gatherings to 50 in a single space.
The new restrictions also only let alcoholic beverages be served at restaurants if accompanied by food prepared on-site.
The restrictions carry with it a fine for failure to comply. But officials also say that there will be a lot of education going on in the initial stages of the new restrictions.
