Former AIC Worker To Be Sentenced On Federal Charges

The former facilities director at American International College is scheduled for sentencing next February for receiving bribes from contractors.

The U.S. Justice Department says Floyd Young of Shelton, Connecticut pleaded guilty to federal charges on Monday related to a contractor kickback scheme he ran while working at AIC from 2013 to 2016 and at several other colleges.

Those included Sacred Heart University in Connecticut and Cornell Tech, part of Cornell University.

Young has agreed to pay nearly a million dollars in restitution.
