There were no new coronavirus deaths reported in Western Massachusetts on Tuesday.
There were fifteen new cases reported in Hampden County and two in Hampshire County.
The total number of cases during the pandemic in Western Mass has increased to ten-thousand-48.
In Springfield, officials announced yesterday that the state is extending the "Stop the Spread" testing initiative in the city until the end of this month; it was also revealed that a new testing site at Springfield Technical Community College is opening today.
