An unknown white powder was reportedly mailed to Holyoke Medical Center on Monday.
The Holyoke Fire Department says two staff members in an administrative office were exposed to the chemical when some of the powder fell out of an envelope as it was opened.
The staffers were hospitalized for observation, but a hazmat team reportedly determined the chemical not to be hazardous.
Police and the FBI are investigating.
