Springfield Police continue to investigate a fatal car crash on Carew Street this morning.
Police say a woman was apparently carjacked at gunpoint this morning on Joseph Street.
The woman was ok. But officials say a short time later the car struck a utility pole killing the driver.
Police have not provided any names but are still investigating.
No other information is available.
