A controlled burn that resulted in an evacuation in Chicopee is over.
This comes after police and fire officials discovered "energetic material" in a yard on Summer Street on Wednesday.
About a dozen homes had to be evacuated and residents along nearly two-dozen streets were told to shelter in place yesterday.
The controlled burn was completed last night, but authorities haven't said what material was discovered in the yard.
