Woman Accused Of Setting Car On Fire In Springfield

A Springfield woman is accused of setting a car on fire last month.

The Springfield Police Department says Lashawnda Naylor allegedly struck a known individual in the head with a liquor bottle, poured oil inside a car, then threw fireworks in the backseat before driving away, causing the affected vehicle to ignite.

This incident was reported in the area of Wilbraham Road and Wellington Street on August 20th.

No arraignment information has been released.
