About a week after the city of Chicopee announced that three of its police officers had contracted Covid19, another officer, who had close contact with the other three has also developed symptoms.
Police Chief William Jebb says the fourth officer has been placed in quarantine as well.
There will be no change in services or response to calls throughout the city.
The Chief says that the only differences that people will see is that there will be no inside meetings and pistol permit applications has been suspended temporarily.
