Senator Elizabeth Warren is criticizing Republicans for moving forward with the Amy Coney Barrett confirmation hearings.
Warren says it's absurd the hearing on a Supreme Court justice nomination began on a holiday, 22 days before the presidential election.
She says it shows how far over-represented Senate Republicans will go to steal a Supreme Court seat and hand courts over to extremists.
Republicans counter that they control the Senate and the presidency, and elections have consequences.
