Heartbreaking testimony received at a state legislative committee set up to examine the deadly coronavirus outbreak at the Holyoke Soldiers' Home.
The committee was in Holyoke on Tuesday and heard from people like Susan Kenney, who lost her father Charles Lowell in April. Back in March,
Kenney said there was a lack of communication from the Soldiers' Home about the outbreak, and she wound up scrawling a message asking if her father was still alive on her car and driving to the facility.
The committee will meet again on Thursday.
