A coalition of Massachusetts doctors is calling on Governor Charlie Baker to push the brakes on reopening the state economy.
The COVID-19 Action Coalition cites the sharply increasing cases in recent weeks for the call to slow the reopening.
Dr. Rebecca Perkins, the group's co-founder, says the group wants indoor bars to be closed and new restrictions to be added at restaurants.
She says the Baker administration needs to issue clear, evidence-based guidance that applies to all settings.
The Governor has yet to respond.
