The newest state map of coronavirus hot-spots is out. There are no real surprises. Red Zone Communities include:
Chicopee, Hampden, Holyoke, Ludlow. Southwick. Springfield. West Springfield
Yellow communities include:
Agawam, Amherst, Belchertown, East Longmeadow, Easthampton. Hatfield, Longmeadow Monson
Northampton, Palmer, Pittsfield, South Hadley, Wilbraham
Greenfield, Southampton and Granby are considered green communities from a case perspective.
Meantime, it looks like a lot of Connecticut residents won't be hitting the road for the upcoming holiday weekend. Triple A reports 90-percent of people surveyed say they're not going to be traveling at all. Just over half of those folks cited concerns over COVID-19 as their main reason for staying home. Of the remaining 10-percent who are heading to see friends and family, most of them are planning to drive.
