Region Prepares For Middle Of The Week Storm

Much of Massachusetts and Connecticut could see a significant snowfall Wednesday night into Thursday.

The National Weather Service says while it's too early to issue any winter storm watches or warnings, they have high confidence that areas south of Boston in southeastern Massachusetts could see more than six inches of snow.

Other impacts of the storm could be strong winds and coastal flooding.

It is also a bit iffy to determine exact storm amounts for western Mass and Northern Connecticut but some estimates range from 7 to 11 inches depending on location.

Some snowfall is expected today, but the Weather Service isn't expecting anywhere in the state to see more than an inch or two of accumulation with this round.
