President Signs Pandemic Relief Package--_More Money Could Be In Pipeline

Springfield Congressman Richard Neal is reacting to President Trump's decision to sign a coronavirus stimulus bill.

In a statement last night, Neal said the president pointlessly delayed approving the relief legislation and, by doing so, intensified anxiety for workers and families who need help.

Last week, Trump called the six-hundred-dollar direct payments to Americans included in the stimulus "ridiculously low".

Neal went after House Republicans for undermining the president by blocking approval of legislation Neal introduced to increase the amount to two-thousand dollars.
