A man is facing charges for a series of armed robberies at convenience stores in Springfield and Chicopee.
The Springfield Police Department says Carlos Escalera faces five counts of armed robbery with a firearm and an additional charge of failure to register as a sex offender.
The alleged robberies happened between December 11th and the 13th.
Escalera was arrested on Monday.
